This is the last in my collection so far of the 52 weeks of me challenge. The sunshine in my life being sometimes of a chemical format. Not something that I'm ashamed of, but certainly something that I cannot afford to stray from.

In my 52 weeks of me challenge, this is the second last one that I came up with. When I open my eyes of a morning, young Mr Heffalump is the first thing that I see.

Nothing too too much to say really, just that I love the comfort of my asics shoes. Oh and it's cool that they're pink too...

One of the things in my life which helps me to reduce stress. I love to play the Lego games on there. Especially the Indiana Jones series, Star Wars and Batman ones!!!Oh and how awesome are my kids - they did a pre order for the Harry Potter lego game on DS which will be released in mid June.

Fly away, I dare ya !!! Is the caption that I used for this pic. The birds were woefully uncooperative on the day that I took this pic. Still though, I managed to get the pic nicely in the end. I love watching them feed of an afternoon. They're noisy, but fun to watch.

OK, so for the 52 week challenge, it's one which is supposed to be about me. Given that I do not like (or have) that many pictures of myself, I decided to do some pages on the people in my life who mean a lot to me. So, for the pourpose of this exercise, all of thiose pics will have bazzill kraft as the background (or the plain coloured cardboard you see as the background in this one.)
This shot is of my kids' dad taken in January this year. Though we are divorced and there's nay a chance of reconciliation, we have put our differences behind us and go forward together, being the best parents we can be to our three kids. To be sure, it's a weird situation, but it works well and benefits our kids.

OK, so this is Uncle Brian, he is married to my aunt (Margaret). They are a fantastic couple who have been a lot like parents to me in many ways over the years. I value our closeness and love them both to bits!!! Oh did I mention that both Marg & Brian are profoundly deaf?  The kids have a great time with them learning sign language, although it's mostly only rude stuff they wanna sign...LOL

So as mentioned earlier, this is my mum's sister, Margaret. She is positively the best aunty in the world and to be sure, she has been very much there for me when nobody else has been there. Through thick and thin, she truly is a gem and I love her to pieces.

OK, Martyn is my eldest son (16) and of him, I couldn't be more proud. He's an avid sportsman and everything that he puts his hand to, he is usually good at. He has a level if common sense which belies the tender age of 16. I like the way he thinks and the level of empathy with which he can display at times is just amazing.

This is my beautiful daughter Courtney. She is 19, and though she is a petite young woman, she has a huge heart and a level of sensibility about her which is uncommon in kids of her age today. I love her to bits and am enjoying watching the changes that she is going through as she emerges from being a child and into adulthood.

This one??? He's my baby and while at 13 I shouldn't be saying this, he certainly will be the baby of our family for a long time to come. He handles the role of baby well and certainly he reaps every advantage that he can. To be sure though, he has a heart of gold and would help anybody should they need it.

This one is my little bro. His name is Lachlan and he is a specialist sales manager for an electrical and data cabling company. He has just come back from the USA where he attended a conference for his work. He is 33 and I would dearly love to see him settle down and have a family of his own. While our family life as a whole is not flash, myself and my two brothers Heath and Lachlan, all try and bridge the gap and make the most of what we have.

I also have a page that I completed with Heath, but he is a little shy and I know that he wouldn't like for me to put it on my blog.

OK, this is the man that I married five years ago. He is a sweetie and faces his life with way more courage and tenacity than I have seen in most men that I have had anything to do with. Chris has a brilliant mechanical mind and while his memory is sometimes not as good as it could be, he tries in so many ways to be the best that he can be. Of that in him, I am extremely proud.

This LO is for the cyber crop (or the blind scrap thingy) for the weekend just gone. But the photo was taken when Courtney was about 9, at the lookout to the Blue Mountains.

Did some local scrapping with soime old friends yesterday, and this is one of the four layouts that I came up with. I love this picture of Martyn sitting there on the edge of the pool, but truth to tell, I'm a bit scared of 5 x 7 photos...LOL...

This picture of my youngest neice is a favourite as we were out fishing in Canberra on a cold October afternoon in 2009. She was really well behaved and certainly was happy to smile for heaps n heaps of photos.

This is another layout that I did yesterday, featuring a pic off myself and Hayden down at the boat ramp. He has a myriad of facial expressions which never fail to crack me up. That's my boy!!!

This was a fun photo to take as martyn was hamming it up for the camera. Normally, he is quite a reserved and shy individual, but on this occasion, I was able to capture him goofing around while I had the camera in my hand.

This is for a challenge I found on the Scrapbbok Savvy forum ( www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au ). I can't remember what the criteria wasm, but had fun creating anyway.

This was a challenge page for me as I never use primary colours to scrap my daughter. I always use the shades of pink and other colours which are considered "girly" . So being right out of my comfort zone, I forged ahead and came up with this layout of my daughter completing one of her sketches.

This is a close up that Courtney took of my eyes. I chose to include it in my 52 weeks challenge because I thought in years that go by, the kids could look back and see what I was thinking way back in 2010. So my eyes...for personal reasons, I have never liked the colour of my eyes. It was my one wish that the kids would not get my coloured eyes. I was so lucky as all of them have their father's eyes. (Maybe I should have made a wish about red hair too huh??? LOL)
